Coloring page Five Butterflies Above the Number Five

Five cheerful butterflies flutter beside a large number five standing in a flower-filled meadow. Each butterfly has wings decorated with patterns such as circles and stripes, inviting children to use plenty of colors. Three flowers with round centers grow at the bottom of the picture, while the sun shines beside a single cloud overhead. Dotted lines trace the butterflies’ flight paths above the grass. The number five has a bold shape that is easy for kids to recognize as they learn to count. The plants and butterflies have friendly, smiling faces, creating a cheerful, welcoming scene.

This coloring page makes a lovely addition to a spring-themed activity corner in your child’s room. It supports counting to five and encourages careful observation as children find all the fluttering butterflies. The activity connects early number concepts with familiar things from nature. This printable design also helps children practice fine motor control as they fill in the butterflies’ wings. A butterfly’s delicate wings are covered in tiny scales that give them their amazing colors and help repel moisture. Try purple or yellow on each wing to give your picture a magical look. Colored pencils work especially well for filling in the intricate wing patterns.
