Coloring page Letter P and an Umbrella

This coloring page features an uppercase P at the top center, with a wide curve and a straight vertical line. Below the letter, a charming parrot stands on two feet beside an open umbrella with clearly outlined fabric panels. The bird has a large, curved beak, a round eye, and layers of feathers on its wings and tail to fill with color. The umbrella has a curved handle at the bottom and a small tip at the very top. The clear design makes it easy for kids to choose contrasting colors for the exotic bird and the familiar everyday object. Each outline is fully enclosed, making the shapes easy to fill even with watercolors.

This printable offers a creative activity for rainy afternoons while introducing another letter of the alphabet. It encourages an eye for color and gives children practice choosing shades for objects they see in nature and around the house. Coloring also helps children practice planning and hand control. The cheerful illustration makes learning feel inviting and encourages little ones to discover more letters in their books. An umbrella keeps the rain off and lets us enjoy walks even on cloudy, wet days. Try bright green and deep purple on its wide canopy to create a cheerful, stylish accessory. The larger spaces on the wings and umbrella canopy work especially well with thick markers or a paintbrush.
