Coloring page Letter F and Seal on Ice

A large letter F fills the left side of this coloring page, matching the Polish caption below. Beside it, a smiling seal with big eyes, a small nose, whiskers, and a few spots on its head and side rests on a flat ice floe. Wavy lines show the water around it. A cloud and two snowflake shapes appear above the seal, while a little fish swims to the left of the ice. At the bottom, the clear caption “F jak Foka” means “F is for seal” in Polish, where the word for seal is “foka.”

This printable makes a lovely afternoon activity for kids practicing letters with a parent at home. The drawing introduces the letter F through the Polish word “foka” and offers a chance to talk about water, ice, and animals that live in cold places. The caption also gives parents and teachers a starting point for a simple language activity, such as comparing the Polish and English words for seal. A seal’s nose helps it detect smells. Try black and pink to make the little nose stand out in the middle of its face. Colored pencils or fine-tip markers work well for this illustration, and short, even strokes can help bring the water to life.

Download, print, and color the seal and letter F together.
