Coloring page Happy Hippo and Hidden H Letters

A smiling hippo stands on a scooter in the middle of a garden filled with little details. Around the hippo are bushes, flowers, butterflies, a bird on a branch, and a fence with a heart. The letter H is hidden throughout the scene, including on a cloud, leaves, stones, and near the scooter. The clear, friendly design makes this letter hunt a fun way to practice looking closely.

This coloring page is a great choice for preschool alphabet lessons, when children can work with their teacher to find every H. Searching among the flowers and along the path helps build focus, observation skills, and letter recognition. This printable activity for kids pairs a friendly animal with a simple alphabet challenge. The hidden letters also make group work easy to organize: children can keep track of which ones they have already found. The scooter has clearly defined parts, making it easy to spot near the bottom of the picture. Try red and blue to help the handlebars and deck stand out from each other. Colored pencils work well for the little H letters, while fine-tip markers are handy for carefully tracing the flowers and butterfly wings.
