Coloring page Cheerful Hedgehog by an Open Chest

A smiling hedgehog stands in the foreground with raised paws, featuring a big, bright belly and distinct spines on its back. Beside it is an open chest with a lid, latch, and corners, while above the scene hang three masks, an oval mirror, and branches with leaves. The background consists of vertical lines that organize the composition and leave plenty of space for relaxed coloring. The whole scene looks cheerful and offers kids many clear elements to fill with color.

At home, this coloring activity is perfect for a calm afternoon with a parent, when a child wants to sit at the table and focus on details. Coloring the spines, masks, and background lines develops hand precision, patience, and careful observation of shapes. This printable is ideal for kids who love animals and scenes with distinct props. The chest theme can also aid in discussions about storing things and recognizing elements in an image. Chests are usually used to hold various items, which is why they often have a clear lid, latch, and strong outline. Coloring the chest with brown and yellow can nicely highlight the lid, latch, and corners. Crayons and fine liners will help fill in the hedgehog’s spines and smaller details hanging above.

Color the hedgehog and chest full of interesting details.
